The Amalka House is a large village house of the XIXth century entirely restored.
On three floors with a surface of 270 m2, cosy and warm, it will contribute to the success of your vacations!
The house can be rented on a self-catering basis (up to 10 persons).
Located in the village of Les Alberts, at the entrance of the Clarée Valley and its cross-country ski trails, it is 5 km from the ski resort of Montgenèvre and 7 km from that of Serre Chevalier.
Whether you want a sporty vacation or a more relaxing one, we offer you an ideal place for skiing, hiking, cycling (road and mountain biking)... and relaxation!
We will be pleased to welcome you all year long, for a week, a few days or a weekend.

A very warm welcome by Marketa, and lots of advice from her husband Florian for activities to practice. Close to the cross-country ski area and to the Montgenevre resort. We stayed in the Amalka house in January 2021. The house is very well equipped, spacious, bright and very tastefully decorated. In short, the ideal house to spend a stay with friends and be able to enjoy the various activities offered in Montgenevre and in the Clarée valley.

We had a lovely week at Maison Amalka. We did not know Montgenèvre and its surroundings, which allowed us to discover them. The ski lifts were closed, but that did not prevent us from practicing many activities, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, tobogganing, ice karting or the ice circuit in Serre Chevalier. Maison Amalka is very welcoming and has many facilities (we were even able to cook pizzas and use the pizza wheel to cut them!). Marketa and Florian were always ready to help / advise us. Finally, we will keep fond memories of our New Year's Eve at the Alberts. Jean and Lorena

We rented the Amalka house for Christmas week (In the middle of CoVid !!!!!).
We were two families with lots of children of different ages (from 2 to 10 years old).
The house is very pleasant to live in, clean, with good fittings, spacious, and well located.
The owners welcomed us with great care. They are there if you want anything. And do it with pleasure! We did not miss activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sled dogs, sledges, ......... (Swedish bath). Perfect vacation. We would have put 6 stars!

As good as it looks! Super friendly hosts with a large beautiful place surrounded by stunning scenery and great skiing in the winter. We went as a large group and having big dining table and living area, lots of bathrooms and also a games room and utility area was ideal - everybody loved it. Top-notch accommodation, highly recommended - just searching for an excuse to get back there!

A propos Montgenèvre
Montgenevre is a beautiful unspoiled ski resort situated in the sunny southern part of the French Alps. Very snow-safe due to its geographical situation and because the village is situated at 1860m, the resort is normally open from the middle of November (weekends) until the end of April. The ski area is perfect for families, very easy to get around in and is easy to meet up with each other. But that's not all as the area offers challenging skiing for all levels of skiers. For backcountry skiers, the potential is huge with nice long, beautiful routes possible between Montgenevre and its neighbouring valleys. There’s a free ride area, a snowpark, two border-crosses accessible to all, even the youngest, and a nordic area. A big part of the ski area lies under the tree line of the larch trees which offer protection and visibility even in snowy conditions or in case of white-outs.
Montgenevre lies on the Italian border and is connected to its neighbour Claviere by the ski-pass. Skiing in Claviere adds nice mountain restaurants, loud, smiling Italian welcomes and beautiful wide slopes to your skiing experience.
The Italian resorts of Sestrière, Pragelato, Sauze d'Oulx, San Sicario, Cesana, Claviere are all connected to Montgenevre in the 5th biggest ski area of the world, the Milky Way (La Via Lattea) with 400 kilometres of slopes.
The village of Montgenevre is nice and cosy, you've got a skating rink, France's longest toboggan run the Monty Express, Durancia Balneotherapy Center & Spa, a cinema, a large variety of nice restaurants and bars and shops selling local specialities.
